These terms apply to everyone who uses horseshows.in ("the site", "we", "us"), operated by Abdul Rahman Shariff from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. What horseshows.in is
horseshows.in is a free, independent directory of horse shows, equestrian competitions, breed shows and horse fairs held in India. We gather publicly available facts about events (names, dates, venues, organisers, disciplines) and accept listings sent in by organisers. We do not organise, run, judge or sell tickets for any event listed here unless a listing clearly says so.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for the Equestrian Federation of India (EFI), the Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI), any state association, breed society or event organiser, unless we say so for a specific partnership. See our Disclaimer.
2. Listings may change: always verify
We try hard to keep listings accurate, but event details are set by organisers and can change, be postponed or be cancelled at any time, sometimes without notice to us. Shows marked “Expected” are estimates based on a previous edition, not confirmed dates.
Before you travel, transport horses, pay entry fees or make bookings, confirm the details directly with the organiser. You rely on the information on this site at your own risk.
3. No liability for events or losses
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any loss, cost or damage arising from:
- an event being cancelled, postponed, moved, or differing from its listing;
- travel, accommodation, horse transport, entry fees or other expenses you incur;
- anything that happens at an event, including injury to people or horses, which is the responsibility of the organiser and participants;
- errors or omissions in listings, or the site being unavailable.
The site is provided “as is” and free of charge. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you is limited to ₹1,000.
4. Third-party links and forms
Listings may link to organisers' websites, entry forms (including Google Forms), payment pages, maps or WhatsApp. Those services are run by others under their own terms and privacy policies. Any entry, payment or agreement you make is between you and the organiser; we are not a party to it and do not handle entry fees.
5. Submitting a show
If you submit a show, you confirm that:
- the information is true and you are the organiser or authorised to share it;
- you have the right to share any text, logo or image you send us, and you allow us to display it on the site and share the listing on social media, free of charge, for as long as it is listed;
- you will tell us promptly if the event changes or is cancelled.
We review every submission before it goes live. We may edit listings for accuracy, clarity or length, and we may decline or remove any listing at our discretion. Listing is free; we do not charge organisers to appear in the calendar.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the site to submit false, misleading, unlawful or infringing content; to impersonate an organiser; to send spam; to scrape the site in bulk or overload it; or to interfere with its security.
7. Our content
The site's design, text written by us, and the way listings are compiled belong to us. Facts about events (dates, places, names) are not owned by anyone and you are free to share them. Please link back to horseshows.in when you share a listing. Logos, posters and photos remain the property of their owners.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction. Please contact us first; most issues can be resolved quickly.
10. Contact and grievances
In line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules under it, complaints about content on the site can be sent to our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
